Create a New Bibliographic Record

To create a new bib record for the book format, select the menu option New > MARC21 Bibliographic > PUL Books Template

If the template you are looking for is in the Templates list but has not been configured to display in the menu, you have two choices.

A) If you anticipate to apply this template often, configure the display of templates so that it will show up as an option under the menu New.

B) Otherwise, find it under the Template tab -

  1. In the Left Pane, switch the tab and sub-tab to Templates > MARC21 Bib
  2. Refresh list (icon no. 6) if necessary
  3. Right-click the template of your choice, select New Record from Template

A new bib record will be generated from the template.
