Flowchart B

Flowchart B is an expanded version of Flowchart A, which utilize only one method -Search Resources - to import WorldCat records into Alma. The expanded flowchart incorporates scenarios that non-Roman and special collection materials may encounter.

1. A cataloger may bring a vendor/existing record from Alma into Connexion Client and incorporate its contents into a new or existing WorldCat record.
2. A cataloger has the option of pushing a record from Connexion Client to Alma via the Export (F5) function. The pros and cons of this method in comparison to Search Resources are explained.
