Thoughts on how this went, goals for next time?

Panel - 25 in attendance, great speakers, perhaps change the timing for next year, not the end of the year

Publishing session: earlier in the year might be better, beg of april

Kick Off: 40 people, good foot traffic, spinning wheel + swag big hit, board game also

Big take-aways: timing, move to earlier in the year. give ourselves 2 months to market and work with comms. need catchier title than 'open research' (e.g not 'open access' but 'author rights') 'meet the services'. Need to reframe, figure out exactly who to advertise to. maybe some lunch workshops in the departments bc that's where grad students are. marketing to Graduate school. grad futures, grad student council?

Andlinger Center - tie open research into sustainability goals

Invite other folks to present, run workshops, using neggin's templates – make one folder in google for materials (like the directional signs, slide decks - for reuse)

Move to earlier in spring semester

condensed kick-off for grad orientation (sept)

Rutgers OA Symposium – likely in the fall with OA week

Change format: on the road instead of week, or sustained effort, lightning talks at departments – reexamining user needs – they want services when they need them – having libguide to reference
