When words such as “prepared by” or “issued by” precede the corporate body, consider including it in the statement of responsibility.

When the body appears without prefatory words use cataloger’s judgement, taking into consideration the location of the information in relation to the title proper. Likewise, use cataloger’s judgment when to include the body in the statement of responsibility when chosen as part of the authorized access point .
