CONSER Serial Record (CSR)

CONSER Standard Record (CSR) is a serial bibliographic record containing all the core, core if, and other elements comprising the serial work, expression, or manifestation recorded in the MARC fields appropriate for describing those elements according to established CONSER and MARC descriptive and format protocols. Only bibliographic records meeting these conditions can be authenticated as a CSR. The topics in this section are covered as they would be represented in the MARC bibliographic record irrespective of the record's form (print, electronic). Topics unique to Remote Access Electronic Serials and serials issued in Microform are covered separately.
