Firefox User Interface

TU lAma, developed by Leo Zachl of TU-Wien Bibliothek, is a browser add-on that works with Alma in Firefox. Among the functions and keyboard shortcuts it offers, the add-on displays text in black (as opposed to the default gray) for a higher contrast in Firefox. Screenshots below were based on Version 1.67 released on 09/14/2021.

Font color

The choice can be turned on and off under Manage Extension (Ctrl+Shift+A) > TU lAma > Options > General

Field tags in color

Marc21 Syntax Highlighting Colorscheme controls the color scheme of field tags, indicators, and subfield delimiters.

el: magenta green blue

rgb: green blue red

ju: lavender brown teal

ff: violet indigo rose

Manage Extension (Ctrl+Shift+A) > TU lAma > Options > General

Other functions

New warning rule: Set up your own warning rules; Regex is supported

Expand from a pre-selected template (paste in the exact name of the template of your choice), e.g.,

Item-Editor: Set up a template for new item records with pre-populated values in certain fields (Shift+Ctrl+Alt+T)
