Do you need to make a global change to a large number of records? There are a number of different methods for doing so, and the right approach depends on the specifics of your task. The Alma Tech Team can help you choose the right tools so that the process is as efficient and foolproof as possible.
If you want to run a batch process, please fill out the following form. The Alma Tech Team will then follow up to discuss the best approach.
It is not necessary to know all the details at this stage, but please provide the following information:
A brief summary of the project
The approximate size of the record set.
The staff member taking the lead with the project
The staff member who will be reviewing the results (a different person than the project lead)
The form also lists a number of tools for importing, exporting, and transforming records. If you have an idea of the tools you want to use, you can indicate these here. You can also review the various options during your follow up discussion with the Alma Tech Team. This discussion will ensure that the batch process is efficient, does the necessary validation/duplicate detection, and provides a good way to detect errors and review the results.
