For original records, record the publishing details of the hard copy serial in MARC field(s) 264, following RDA 2.8.1-2.8.6.

For cloned records where the print record was created under pre-RDA rules and does not need to be re-described because it is coded PCC, publisher information appears in MARC field 260. CEG field 260 provides more detailed information about this field. If known, record in MARC field 533 the publishing details of the microform in subfields $a=Form of reproduction, $m= Dates of publication and/or sequential designation of issues reproduced. $b=Place of publication, $c=Agency responsible for the reproduction, and $d=Date of microreproduction, $e=Physical description of microreproduction. If the serial is complete and is not expressed as such on the hard copy record, add the number of volumes to the microform record when this information is readily available. When doing original cataloging, give the extent ("volumes") and illustration statement, if appropriate, but omit the size as it is impossible to determine the size of the original from the reproduction.
