Please contact the chairs of the Authorities Committee for the latest version of the macrobook.

Installing the PUL Authorities Macros in OCLC

1. Save the PUL authority macrobook to your computer.

2. Move the .mbk file to the following location:

C:\Users\[your user ID]\AppData\Roaming\OCLC\Connex\Macros

The fastest way to open the folder is to paste the address (after you have typed in your user ID) above to the address bar of File Explorer.

Otherwise, in order to reach the folder by following the file path step by step, you will want to first doublecheck that File Explorer is showing hidden files:

  • In File Explorer, go to menu View > Options > Change folder and search options

  • Select the View tab

  • Choose the radio option Hidden files and folders > Show hidden files, folders, and drives

3. Open OCLC Connexion. Add your name to OCLC by selecting the menu option--

Tools > Options > My Status
