Notes:

  • PULFA sunsetting
    • No longer updating
    • In use by SC staff and DRDS developers to troubleshoot features and functionality in PULFAlight
    • Turn this off in 6 months (KL will confirm with TP)
    • Update the PULFA banner to reflect this new status
    • FindingAids-Dev site can be turned off now
    • No hardware maintenance will be done on PULFA
  • Sunsetting template next steps
    • Let's put it to use with a project that's on the map to be sunset in 2021.  PULFA seems like a good candidate.  We can create copies of the template for PULFA and the EAD management process now run with ASpace, and share with stakeholders in the PULFAlight and ASpace Operations Groups.
    • Make it clear when sharing with stakeholders that these are not directives but assessment tools intended to make sunsetting go smoothly for any project.  We strongly welcome feedback on the template as well, any fields that are missing or seem superfluous, etc.

Action Items:

  • (Kate) Validate timeline for sunsetting PULFA
  • (Kate) Check with DRDS liaisons for PULFA and ASpace Operations groups about sharing the sunsetting form.
