Add a Profile Box to a LibGuide
A Profile Box in LibGuides connects your LibApps profile information (title, image, contact, etc.) to a LibGuide so that users can connect with the expert affiliated with that Guide. You can add or edit a profile box to a Guide using the following steps:
Open your Guide in editing mode. To add your profile, click the +Add Box link where you would like to insert your profile on the page (note: with our System Default - Side-Nav Layout two-column layout, the profile box typically goes in the left column underneath the tab/page menu).
In the Add New Box dialog box that opens, click the Type drop-down and choose Profile. You can then set the box’s position and other details in the dialog box and click the blue Save button when finished.

If you are the Guide owner, your own profile box will now be added. If you do not own the Guide and/or need to change the person in the profile box, you can do so by clicking the gear icon in the upper right corner of the profile box and then start typing the name of the person you’re looking for and select them from the list. You can also scroll in the Specific Accounts list to find and select the person you are looking for. When finished, click the blue Close button at the bottom.

To add more than one profile box to a guide, simply repeat the process above by adding a new content box, making it a profile box, and choosing the person whose profile you’d like to add.
