Day 1: Profiles

Context: The current staff directory and specialist list in Drupal is a hand-coded set of pages which gather titles and contact information from a custom database; this setup is unsustainable.

The future Drupal website will have a staff directory that harvests from:

  • PeopleSoft (name, title, phone, office location) - aka HR Self-Service
  • ORCID (bio, photo, external web-link)

Outcome: We ask each liaison to complete profiles on LibGuides, ORCID and Canvas, and to explore a LibCal Appointment Calendar.
