Assigning User Tools

You can assign User Tool number to macros to access them easily as menu options.

1. In Connexion, go to Tools > User tools > Assign. Select the Macro radio button.

From the list of Macros, select a desired macro.

2. Under Select New User Tool, select a desire tool number

3. Click on Assign Tool4. Click OK

The macro of your choice is now assigned to Tool number X.

Repeat for other macros for which you want to assign a different tool number.

4. Click Close

View assigned User Tools

There are two ways to view which macro has been assigned which tool number.

Creating shortcut buttons for User Tools

To run a macro, select it from Tools

Alternatively, you can create shortcut buttons for User Tools, so that a macro is only a mouse-one click away.

1. Select the menu option Tools > Toolbar editor…

2. Scroll down (about ¾ of the way through) until you see the blue numbers appear

3. Select a desired User Tool, click and hold it, and then drag and drop it where you want it to appear on the toolbar.
