What is it?
When the core elements recorded are insufficient to differentiate between two or more persons with the same name, and they’re all listed under the same record.
How to tell when you are dealing with an undifferentiated NAR
Undifferentiated NARs contain:
008/32 coded “b”:
667 note:
Pairs of 670 fields used to group information about each individual covered by the NAR:
What to do?
Create a new name authority record in RDA, with distinguishing information. Transfer information pertaining to that person (their 670 fields) from the undifferentiated record and edit as necessary.
Use period of activity in $d, or profession, occupation, or other designation in $c to make each entity unique.

Add a 667 note to the new NAR:

If more than one identity remains in the undifferentiated NAR:
If there is not sufficient information to create a new NAR for each name, leave the record coded AACR2.
If only one identity remains in the undifferentiated NAR:
Add a 667 field to the undifferentiated NAR:
